Meet Piper & Finn, my little Mama and son rescues from Puerto Rico. I’ve had these precious babies for 3 years now. Their life was very sad before they came to me. They lived through two hurricanes, they were mentally and physically abused. Piper had puppies, and a drug addict killed all of them but Finn. An older man tried to rescue them off the street, but he was very poor and was living in a lean two with a cot and no running water. He gave them to this wonderful lady who rescues street dogs in Puerto Rico and vets them and sends them to her friend here in Pittsburgh to adopt them out. Piper was positive for heart worms, but thankfully made it through the treatment before coming to Pittsburgh. When they arrived, everyone wanted Finn because he was only a year old, but they didn’t want Piper. The lady who adopts them out said they were very bonded, and she would not separate them. I had adopted from her before, and when I saw their pic, I called her immediately, and of course I wanted them both! More to love, and I would not think of separating them. These precious little fur babies have filled our lives and hearts with so much love, joy, laughter, smiles, and mischief! I’m so blessed and thankful for these little angels everyday! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
